After closing the doors of an NGO we have spent 13 years building, 2020 drew the path to our return. The Beirut Marathon team has come back together as volunteers and, hand in hand, raised funds and awareness for Beirut on a global level. �
In fact, this year introduced us to a new era. Virtual workspaces, virtual learning and who knew, virtual marathons! It is shocking how human beings keep striving to survive, to adapt and to keep their spirits going! We are very grateful for all the runners who participated in our charity race and to every friend and partner abroad who contributed to its success.
2020 is a hard year indeed, but let’s try to look at the bright side, it’s the only thing we can do when everything else fails us.
Lebanon will rise again and with the right energy, our spirits will as well!
